British Columbia



  • Saskatchewan Nurses Foundation
    This non-profit organization provides financial assistance to eligible nurses who wish to further their education in nursing. Assistance may be in the form of a bursary or loan.
  • Saskatchewan Health Bursary Program
    Bursaries offered to LPNs and RNs wishing to upgrade their skills and knowledge level in perioperative nursing and to RNs wishing to upgrade their skills and knowledge in basic critical care.


  • Foundation for Registered Nurses of Manitoba Inc.
    The foundation offers bursaries for students in post-diploma baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral studies, as well as post-RN clinical specialty courses. Manitoba nurses who have successfully completed a CNA specialty certification exam may apply for partial reimbursement.
  • Nurses Recruitment and Retention Fund
    This fund offers compensation for basic nursing education programs.

  • Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador
    Education and research trust:Continuing education bursaries are awarded annually to assist nurses to achieve CNA certification or certification renewal.
  • Eastern Health
    Financial support offered for obtaining CNA certification. Eastern Health includes: Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear; Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican; Placentia Health Centre, Placentia; Dr. W.H. Newhook Community Health Centre, Whitbourne; Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear; Interfaith Citizens Home, Carbonear.
